Maharashtra FDA Eligibility Criteria 2024

The eligibility criteria for recruitment of Group B and C positions under the Maharashtra FDA is available below, go through the listed points to check the details in terms of educational qualification and age limit.

Educational Qualification:

• Analytical Chemist (Group B)
  • Option (i):
    • Degree in Pharmacy, or
    • Post-Graduate Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry from a recognized university.
  • Option (ii):
    • Second Class Degree in Science from a recognized university, and
    • Minimum 18 months of experience in analytical testing of drugs after obtaining the degree.
• Senior Technical Assistant (Group C)
  • Option (i):
    • Second Class Science Degree from a recognized university.
  • Option (ii):
    • Degree in Pharmacy.

Age Limit:

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not older than 38 years as of October 22, 2024. Upper age relaxation is applicable, whose details are available below.
  • There is upper age relaxation for 5 years for candidates from reserved categories / athletes / economically weaker sections / socially and educationally backward classes.
  • For differently-abled and orphan candidates, the upper age limit is up to 45 years.

Maharashtra FDA Application Fee 2024

To apply for recruitment of  Analytical Chemist (Group B) and Senior Technical Assistant (Group C) under the Maharashtra FDA, a candidate who belongs to the Unreserved category is required to pay the application fee of 1,000 rupees, and the payable amount for reserved category candidates is only 900 rupees.

Maharashtra FDA Selection Process 2024

The selection process for recruitment of  Analytical Chemist (Group B) and Senior Technical Assistant (Group C) under the FDA, Maharashtra consists of multiple stages, which are Computer-Based Test and Interview. Details regarding it is also available below:

• Computer-Based Test: Candidates who will apply will be called for CBT, which may take place by the end of year 2024. Only those candidates will be called for the first stage of the selection process, who will have provided all the details accurately.
• Interview: Individuals who will pass the Computer-Based Test will be eligible to participate in the Interview, which may take place within four weeks after the announcement of the result for CBT.

Maharashtra FDA Pay Scale 2024

Candidates who will be appointed as Analytical Chemist (Group B) and Senior Technical Assistant (Group C) will get the monthly salary range from 38,600 – 1,22,800 rupees and 35,400 – 1,12,400 rupees, respectively, with additional benefits such as Dearness Allowance, Home Rent Allowance and others.
