RPSC RAS 2024 Notification 

RPSC has released the notification for RAS 2024-25 Exam on 2nd September and now window to apply is available for four weeks on the official website at https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in/ from 19 September to 18 October. Candidates need to know that the advertisement brochure will carry the important details, eligibility criteria and other important details. 

One who wants to be appointed to various administrative positions in the state government of Rajasthan, India can apply by visiting the official website of RPSC. Concerned officials will only accept the online application; each one who is interested in sitting in this exam will have to apply by providing details and documents, and making fee payment.

RPSC RAS Vacancy 2024

Number of vacancies for the Rajasthan Administrative Services 2024-25 Exam is disclosed officially by the Rajasthan Public Service Commissio, there are a total number of 733, out of which 346 and 387 are for State Services and Subordinate posts, respectively. RPSC RAS 2024 Eligibility Criteria 

To apply for the RPSC RAS 2024-25 exam, a candidate must meet the certain eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit, whose details are available below.

• Education Qualification: One must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution, college or university with Science, Commerce, Arts or any other stream.
• Age Limit: A candidate’s age must not be below 21 and above 40 years, and there is upper age relaxation for 3 and 5 years for OBC and SC/ST candidates, respectively.

RPSC RAS 2024 Application Fee

To apply for RAS 2024 Exam, a candidate will have to pay the required amount of ₹600, if he or she belongs to General or Other Backward Class (Creamy Layer). OBC (Non-CL) and Economically Weaker Section will have to pay only ₹400/-; Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes will have to pay only 400/.

RPSC RAS Exam Date 2024

Date for RAS 2024 Prelims isn’t announced officially by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission, you need to know that the exam will take place in offline mode through the OMR sheet likely in December 2024 with a time duration of 03 Hours i.e. 180 minutes. RPSC RAS Selection Process 2024

Selection process for the Rajasthan Administrative Services 2024 consists of three stages, which are Prelims, Mains and Interview. Candidates who are eligible and interested in sitting in this exam may check the details about it from the below.

Prelims:

• Mode: Offline
• Duration: 3 Hours 
• Type of Questions: Objective 
• Total Marks: 200
• Number of Questions: 200
• Marking Scheme:
  • Each correct answer carries 1 mark.
  • 1/3rd of the marks assigned to the question are deducted for each incorrect answer.
• Medium: English and Hindi
• Section: General Knowledge & General Science
• Number of Questions: 150

Mains:

• Mode: Offline (Descriptive/Analytical)
• Duration: 3 hours per paper (for each paper)
• Total Marks: 800 (200 marks for each paper)
• Marking Scheme: Each paper is of 200 marks.
• Medium: English and Hindi
• Sections:
  • Paper-1: General Studies-I
  • Paper-2: General Studies-II
  • Paper-3: General Studies-III
  • Paper-4: General Hindi and General English

Interview:

• Mode: Face-to-Face
• Total Marks: 100
• Marking Scheme: Marks awarded based on the candidate’s performance in the interview.
• Medium: English and Hindi

Candidates who will apply will be called for Prelims, which will be followed by Mains and Interview. The first stage will be just a  screening test, the final selection list will be prepared on the basis of candidates performance in the last two stages.
