IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2024
Eligibility criteria for IBPS Clerk 2024 in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.
Educational Qualification:
- A candidate must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent.
- Proficiency in the official language of the State/UT is essential.
Age Limit:
- One’s age must not be below 20 and above 28 years as of July 01, 2024 i.e. a candidate must have been born between July 2, 1996, and July 1, 2004 (both dates inclusive).
- There will be upper age relaxation for 3, 5 and 10 years for Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer), Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe, and Persons With Benchmark Disabilities, respectively.

Exam date for the post of Clerk is announced officially by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Candidates who are interested in applying online to sit in this exam need to know that Prelims and Mains will take place on 24th, 25th & 31st August 2024 and 13th October 2024, respectively, across the nation at various exam centres.
IBPS Clerk Application Fee 2024
To apply for recruitment of Clerk in any of 11 participating banks, an individual will have to pay the application fee of ₹850, which also includes Intimation Charge. Candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Person with Disability will have to pay only ₹175 as Intimation Charge through the provided payment gateway by deadline.
